All of these paintings were made in 2011. I have spent this year dealing with the transfer from working on paper to working on canvas. In addition to including many more figures in the paintings, I have also played around with the size of the figures and have forced a more illustriative narrative to the paintings. Random protests, appropriated canvases, the use of cardboard and a heavier use of graffiti have been some of the many things happening in the studio lately.
